utah weather: morning commute

Utah weather is great, you never know what you are going to wake up to.

Today it was snow again.I hit the bottom of the canyon and the flashing sign at the bottom warned me about crossing wild life.  Yeah, no shit! 

Unfortunately, warning the drivers doesn’t seem to work, today was the Elks time to go, according to a co-worker a rather large herd was wandering around in the center median, one of these poor guys obviously didn’t make it across the road.  I saw him napping or dead on the side of the road, a plow was about to push him into a snow bank.  I tried to get a picture of it, however at 80mph I mis-calculated my shot and got the ass end of the plow. ( below )

 These pictures are so enthralling I know you will all love them, especially the picture of the guy cross country skiing.

 I think John McCain might be in town today but who really gives a shit?

 I think this guy was in the lead, I saw three people out skiing but they seemed to be going around in a circle so I could be wrong, yeah, I’m probably wrong, no way was that Sea Biscuit! ( you know, the horse?
