So Sweet
May 9, 2008She showed up at my door this morning with coffee and M&M’s. Not just the regular gas station or grocery store M&M’s. These M&M’s are special, made just for me. She had them custom made, they say “So Sweet” on them. I had a smile from ear to ear for the next hour and even now that I think about it, I smile again.

I Think I Need a Valet
May 8, 2008I went out for lunch and when I got to my car I found that my parking job this morning wasn’t quite up to standard. I’m pretty sure I was straight with the guy next to me, it was a big ford truck, which had since been replaced with that little thing you see to the right. hmm.
Next time I’m going to Valet it. Can you see the cat paw prints all over the hood of my car, the bonnet for those needing a translation.
…and no, I wasn’t drunk!

Beckham vs Real Salt Lake
May 5, 2008I went to the Real Salt Lake vs L.A. Galaxy game this weekend. It ended up 2-2 and since the rest of the Galaxy team played like one legged monkeys Beckham decided he would do it himself with two crackin goals.
That’s him in the white, can you see him?
okay, the guy closest to us in the white.
Took the kids to watch motorcycle racing sunday, that was fun.

stray images, peaceful moments
April 25, 2008I’ve been so busy lately with work that I’ve been neglecting my web time, I was flicking through my phone at pictures I had snapped (bad quality as usual) and came across these. They are from the last week or so.
I was sitting in my car waiting for a friend and I doodled this, I’ve been trying to come up with a tattoo for a friends foot, this isn’t it, but this is how I get ideas.
That ugly thing is my knee, they say we play soccer on grass but this doesn’t happen on grass, it’s like slide tackling on concrete.
Last of all, I dried a yellow rose that a friend gave me, use the fuzziness of the picture to imagine it being beautiful, it really is.
I went to watch the Salt Lake Bees game last night, that’s our local minor league baseball team, it was 38 degrees outside, I was with somebody wonderful, we took a big thick blanket, she grabbed a bratwurst and I grabbed a footlong with everything on it and with some beer we sat and froze. We laughed, yelled shivered and got as close as we could in our separate seats. The Bees won in extra innings and I won for the company I enjoyed.
After the game we went back to her house and finished up the end of the Utah Jazz game, that’s our basketball team for those not in the know. They lost, the series sits at 2-1 in favour of the Jazz.
Have you ever come across people that are completely miss read by others, I think this person is that way, when I’m laying next to her she is so peaceful, I find myself wanting to stay awake in the silence, in the dark, while she lays on my chest, just to take in that peaceful feeling. I’m not very good with words and my description doesn’t do it any justice so I’ll leave it at that.

a new view on life
April 18, 2008
You probably thought this was going to be something pretty insightful, nope, sorry. I really do have a new view. Take a look
Yep, that’s it. I went into work yesterday and was told to pack up my stuff, they moved me about 6 miles down the road to some of our other offices, I have a brand new office but no window to look out of. I spend most of my day sitting cock eyed in my office so I can see out of my door, through the door of the conference room and out of the window. It’s a great view of a road, currently I can see a tractor out there?????? a tractor, what the hell is a tractor doing out there?
